Bex Brands is a service-oriented company. We exist to serve your brand in the best way possible. Below you’ll find a list of the services we offer with a short description of each.
BRANDING
This seems to be a confusing term to many people. At Bex Brands, we consider all communication devices to be branding. Logos = branding. Copywriting = branding. Invoice template = branding. Every touchpoint helps the customer understand the brand.
BRAND CONSULTATION
Just want to pick our brains a bit? We’re happy to analyze and evaluate your brand and make recommendations to make your brand communicate more effectively. We’ve found that just a few hours can sometimes make your business more successful.
BRAND MAINTENANCE
Many times a client will come to us with a well-concepted brand with quality deliverables. They just need someone to keep up the standards already in place. This still requires creativity. It’s important to keep things fresh and allow your brand to evolve as time passes, while maintaining the soul of your brand.
BRAND REFINEMENT
Sometime a business has changed or grown and the brand deliverables that previously represented their brand no longer fit. Bex Brand loves to do brand makeovers! Many times it’s an extraordinarily simple and inexpensive process. We’ll figure out where you might be miscommunicating your brand and can suggest modifications or do-overs.
NAMING
In today’s crowded marketplace, naming can be a great way to start off on the right foot & stand out from the crowd. We can help you come up with something that sounds good, looks good and is something that will connect with your audience so they remember your brand.
LOGOS
An effective logo is a distillation of the soul of your brand. That doesn’t mean it needs to tell your audience every piece of the story, just its essence. It’s one of our favorite things to do, as a good one almost works as a flag does for a nation.
IDENTITY

Leilani's Cafe is a family-owned hawaiian cafe and the logo and business card captures the home-spun, colorful and relaxed atmosphere of their small restaurant in Pacific Beach.
This combines selected colors, fonts, copy tone (although minimal). Each one should reinforce the audience’s brand perception, and also say something new and fresh about the brand. Think of your brand as a person, and your identity are like clothing. The clothing (identity) changes from day-to-day, but the person (brand) remains the same. Identity can include business cards, letterhead, note cards, postcards, gift certificates, business forms, price tags, signage, balloons, t shirts, email signatures and presentation templates.
COLLATERAL
This differs from identity in the sense that collateral contains substantial content/copy that further expresses the brand. Again, if you think of your brand as a person, this is when he or she speaks. Communication until this point has been largely just a visual first impression. Obviously, this is a crucial stage. We’ve all been in a situation where a person’s appearance doesn’t match what they say. Results can be disappointing to say the least. Collateral includes touchpoints such as brochures, invitations, flyers, manuals, media kits, direct mail and menus.
PACKAGING
This is the moment of truth. A customer sees your brand on the shelf, goes through a complex system analysis and determines whether or not to pick it up. Of course, this all happens subconsciously, but you can rest assured that this process happens. Many times a business understands the importance of this moment and panics. They cover every inch of their packaging with colors, copy and bursts touting every benefit and claiming to be the best at everything. Have you ever been on a date like that before? And how well did that go? And there’s your answer for packaging. Know what to say, but also know what not to say. Keeping it simple is one of the most difficult aspects of package design. Remember that packaging is a part of the brand experience that you invite into your home, office, gym or car.
ADVERTISING

This is a quick reminder for those who know who you are and a brief “Hi” and “How are you” for those who don’t. It should be attention grabbing and encourage those to order, attend, buy or inquire further.
WEB
Web works are one of the most effective ways to begin a true two-way conversation between brand and audience. A website embodies a virtual brand experience of the brand. E-Blasts can be customized to each person’s specifications, alerting those interested in more information about your brand, promotions and sales or the latest news. All of these can occur immediately and at a relatively small cost. Social Media marketing is a fabulous way to get to know your audience as posts and comments and replies give you direct, one-on-one conversations with your customers. Custom Facebook tabs and proper Twitter setups can help your audience better understand your brand and create more sales for your business.
